2018 Grant Recipient Pollination Project

The Let's Emerge Board of Directors is an integral part of furthering the organization's mission, vision and goals. The Board is responsible for a variety of functions, including, but not limited to:

• Supporting the executive director.

• Overseeing the strategic plan.

• Actively participating with staff in the overall program planning process.

• Determining, monitoring and strengthening the organization's programs and services.

• Working in partnership with the executive director and development staff to raise funds.

• Adopting an annual budget and ensuring proper financial controls are in place.

• Ensuring legal and ethical integrity.

• Recruiting and orienting new board members, and assessing board performance.
